Rampage Registration and Uniform Night

ATTENTION U8 - U13 TEAMS
Looking forward to seeing you tonight (Monday May 5th) from 6 - 9pm in Highlander Hall.
Please make sure that you complete the online registration prior to coming. Make sure that you click on the PLAYER REGISTRATION TAB to the left of this article and complete the process. (Please note that user names and passwords from this past season are NO LONGER VALID).
Please make sure that you come tonight with the completed paperwork that needs to be returned to the Rampage administration as well as your team manager.
Xtreme Soccer will also have a booth set up for your child to try on the uniform (and warm up suit) for the coming season. They accept checks and credit cards.
If you are unable to complete the online registration at home, we will have several computers available for you. Please be patient as there might be a line for this.

Congratulations to the G93 team and coach Ryan Franks for winning the Desert United Cactus Cup.
This was Coach Franks' 1st tournament with the team, and a great start.
Congratulations to the G95 - Martins team for winning the So Cal Rush tournament playing up in the GU13 division.
This was the team's first tournament since tryouts, and the new roster is displaying great potential for the upcoming tournament and league seasons.
The team's next tournament will be the Legends Classic where they are the defending Champions.

English and world powerhouse club from London, Chelsea FC is represented in Los Angeles by three of their academy players who signed with the Los Angeles Rampage Ladies.
Lynsi Horn (Midfielder), Faye Rabson (Defender), and Francesca “Frankie” Gibbs (Goalkeeper) traded their Chelsea FC jerseys for Los Angeles Rampage FC Jerseys. They arrived in Los Angeles on March 18th for a week long tryout, after four days in Los Angeles; head coach Emanuel Martins signed the three players to the 2008 season’s roster. “by Friday it was clear that they were over the jet lag, as they began to display their true abilities” said head coach Emanuel Martins “Faye has a tremendous work ethic and is capable of playing as a center back and as a wing back, Lynsi has a high soccer IQ, which is represented by her vision and her ability to find great penetrating passes, and Frankie is a solid and vocal goalkeeper, who is very comfortable supporting the play by getting the ball at her feet” added Martins. Assistant coach Russell finch (also originally from England) is working closely with the girls to help them adjust to Los Angeles, and the style of soccer. “I came to the U.S. on a soccer scholarship and had to go through much of what they are experiencing now, making me a great resource for them”, said Finch.
The signing of Lynsi, Faye, and Frankie brings the roster to 20 players. Los Angeles Rampage Ladies will hold 22 players in the active roster and 6 in the developmental roster.

Kahytee Wilson (Forward, team captain), and Jackie Torres (Goalkeeper) have just completed the season playing for the GU12 team, coached by Emanuel “Manny” Martins, with a highlight win over a #1 rated team in the nation. Please join us in congratulating Kahytee and Jackie and wish them luck. GO RAMPAGE!!!

College Dream - Perception vs Reality

College night was a success.
Parents and players alike were treated to an evening full of valuable college bound information, as well as clarification of some myths regarding college, and recruiting.
Coach Ali (USC) was delightful, as he shared some insight about college recruiting, and answered various questions about the process.
Jonathan Bornstein (Chivas USA & MNT) discussed different paths to college and shared his story.
At the conclusion of the event Jonathan and Ali were also available for pictures and autographs.
SCORE and 360 gym were also in attendance and were able to answer questions regarding their partnership with Los Angeles Rampage.
